Yoga for Neck & Shoulder Pain 4-session series (Oct 7-28)

Neck and shoulder pain can make everyday activities such as working at a computer, driving, reaching, lifting, and sleeping more difficult. This four-session group medical visit series uses mindful movement to support recovery from persistent neck and shoulder pain.

Each one-hour session incorporates yoga and other therapeutic movement techniques designed to calm the nervous system, build confidence and a sense of safety when moving and using the neck and shoulders, and address common areas of tension, weakness, and stiffness that may contribute to a range of neck and shoulder conditions.

Throughout the series, you will be guided through gentle movements that support mobility, strength, body awareness, and more comfortable participation in daily activities. The focus is not on pushing through pain or achieving specific yoga poses. Movements can be adapted to your comfort level, abilities, and available range of motion. No previous yoga experience is required.

This is a progressive series, with each session building on the skills and movements introduced previously. Participants are encouraged to attend all four sessions.
