How it Works

Movement. Education. Connection. Covered by MSP.

If you’re living with ongoing pain, we’re here to help you move better, understand your body, and feel more in control — no travel, no cost. Sessions focused on pain recovery (sometimes called “pain management”) are available to BC residents.

Our Group Medical Visits (GMVs) combine the best of medicine, movement therapy, and pain science education, all in a welcoming, online setting. You'll be guided by doctors and clinicians who specialize in persistent pain.

We offer sessions focused on:

  • Education: Topics include pain science education, medication options, pacing, sleep and more

  • Guided practice: Movement therapy, meditation, and mindfulness-based exercises

  • Practical tools: Actionable strategies and personalized plans to reduce pain and support daily function

Who our Group Medical Visits are for

You’re Not Alone — and You’re Not Out of Options

Our care is designed for people who live with persistent pain and want to move beyond coping and toward meaningful recovery. You may have tried medication, seen specialists, or even been told nothing more can be done.

We're here to change that story. Pain is changeable. We offer a hopeful, empowering path forward.

Our services may be a good fit if:

  • You live with ongoing pain and want to try new ways to feel better

  • You’ve tried other treatments with limited success

  • You’re curious about group-based care and connecting with others who live with pain

  • You want care that feels safe, supportive, and respectful of your story

  • You want to understand pain and move with more confidence

You don’t need to have all the answers to get started — just a willingness to learn, move, and take the first step.

  • “Through these classes, I have found peace with my pain, making me able to move safely and build strength. Hayley is an excellent teacher, as she modifies each class making the classes possible for everyone. Dr. Noah is a wealth of knowledge helping me understand pain. Thank you both for creating a much needed resource, gives me hope.”

  • "The Pain Recovery program was the missing link for me on my journey with persistent pain. These Group Medical Visits have given me the tools to understand pain and to take charge of my own progress with a return to safe movements through Qi Gong, Clinical Pilates, and recorded Meditations. Consistent practice of the relaxation breathing and slow movements gives you the help you need when you need it the most!"

  • "Thank you so much for both the Qi Gong and Clinical Pilates online group medical visits. They have been a very helpful way to learn more strategies for breathing, relaxation and mindfulness to use during the week. It is a wonderful addition to health care in my opinion and I am grateful for the opportunities."

  • "I’ve been participating in Qi Gong and Pilates with Hayley and Dr. Noah Alexander, and have found the sessions incredibly helpful for managing my chronic pain. I was initially doubtful that I’d be able to take part fully, but Hayley’s inclusive and supportive approach makes the classes accessible and beneficial for everyone, regardless of ability."
